This notice explains how Megistone SRL processes the personal data collected through this website, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Megistone SRL, Via Andrea Peyron 15, 10143 Turin (TO), Italy — VAT IT12721830011. For any matter regarding your personal data you can write to info@megistone.eu.
2. Personal data collected
Through this website we collect:
- Contact form data: the name, email address, subject and message you voluntarily provide.
- Technical data: IP address and browser identifier (user agent), recorded when the contact form is submitted (for security and abuse prevention) and when a cookie-consent choice is made (to retain proof of the consent).
- Statistical data: if you give your consent, Google Analytics collects data about how the site is used (pages visited, duration, device, approximate location).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to enquiries sent through the contact form. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and the controller's legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Producing aggregate statistics on site usage through Google Analytics. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Cookies
Technical cookies: the site uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation (language preference, storing your cookie choices). These do not require consent.
Statistical cookies: Google Analytics 4 sets measurement cookies that are activated only after your explicit consent via the banner.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
5. Transfer of data outside the European Union
Data collected through the contact form is stored on servers located in the European Union. The use of Google Analytics, subject to your consent, may involve the transfer of data to Google LLC in the United States; such transfer takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Retention period
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and to comply with the applicable legal obligations, after which they are deleted. Google Analytics data is retained according to the property settings (maximum 14 months).
7. Data recipients
Contact form data is processed by authorised staff of Megistone SRL and is not disclosed or sold to third parties for commercial purposes. Technical service providers (e.g. the hosting provider, and Google LLC for analytics) may process the data as processors or independent controllers, within the limits of their respective purposes.
8. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise at any time, pursuant to Articles 15-22 GDPR, the rights of:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure of data (the right to be forgotten);
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing;
- data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
